PARTNER CODE OF CONDUCT

What every partner commits to.

The code applies to all tiers and to every person acting for a partner. It is part of the partner terms accepted at application.

Partners do

  • Describe HKAIIFF INDEX and AIF NODE accurately, using the product platforms' own definitions of what each service is and is not.
  • Display their authorisation number and link to their partner page wherever they present themselves as a CHANNEL partner.
  • Publish their retail prices and payment methods to customers before taking payment, and issue the receipts required where they operate.
  • Obtain each customer's consent before placing an order in their name and keep customer data only for serving that customer.
  • Respond to customer and headquarters enquiries within a reasonable time and keep contact details in the workspace current.
  • Complete the training headquarters marks as required for their tier.

Partners do not

  • Present themselves as HKAIIFF, the festival, the product platforms or an exclusive representative, or register domains, accounts or marks that could be confused with them.
  • Promise festival selection, awards, rankings, visibility or financial returns in connection with any product.
  • Resell licences or accounts to other resellers, or share workspace credentials outside their registered team.
  • Charge customers for services that were not provisioned, or collect payment through methods not shown on their partner page.
  • Alter brand assets, partner marks or legal texts supplied by headquarters.

If the code is broken

Headquarters may suspend the partner account while a matter is reviewed, remove the partner from public lookup, downgrade the tier or terminate the partnership under the partner terms. Services already delivered to customers continue regardless of the partner's status.
